Special considerations
Candidates who took BMAT, TMUA, ENGAA, NSAA, TSA and TSA Section 1 have from the day of their test until 24 October 2023 to submit requests for special considerations.
We are unable to accept any requests after this date.
We review the information provided to see if the circumstances reported have impacted negatively on the candidate’s performance. If we believe that there has been a negative impact, we will advise the institution(s) of a severity level between 1 (low impact) to 5 (high impact) in accordance with guidelines provided for awarding bodies.
We cannot enter into discussion with centres, candidates or their representatives on the level of special consideration which should be indicated to the institution(s).
We do not make any adjustments to the candidates' scores.
Result enquiry
Candidates who took BMAT or TMUA can submit a request for a result enquiry if they believe that there has been an error in the processing or reporting of their results.
A results enquiry should be submitted by the centre, on behalf of the candidate, by completing an online results enquiry form. The form will be available on the support site closer to the results release date.
If the test was taken at an open centre, the form may be submitted directly by the candidate.
A request for a results enquiry must be received by us within five working days of the results release date. Costs and submission deadlines are published on the support site.
