Attached to this article you will find the paper-based test specific instructions for the October 2023 session.
This document contains vital information about what to do on the day of the test and what you need to do to prepare before the test day.
Everyone involved with the administration of the test has to familiarise themselves with the contents of the document and adhere to the regulations and processes.
General topics covered in the document are:
- test duration
- test room set-up
- authorised/unauthorised materials
- checking candidate IDs
- instructions for candidates
In addition to the general topics, these instructions also contain information on:
- opening and distributing test papers
- use of word processor as an access arrangement
- packing and returning exam materials after the test
Copies of this document must be available to the invigilators in every exam room to ensure test day regulations are adhered to.
We have also attached the Notice to Candidates for the October 2023 test session.
Instructions for registering and booking a courier collection using MyDHL+ are published here. You will need to log in to the support site with an email address associated with a test centre to view the article containing the MyDHL+ return instructions.
The Handbook for Centres can be found in this section of the support site - we no longer provide a downloadable copy of the Handbook and there is no requirement for you to keep a printed version in the test room.

10/10/2023 - we have uploaded a revised version of the test specific instructions. This version reflects the fact that TSA and TSA S1 candidates will not receive a Confidential Results Information sheet.
