This article contains information for candidates planning to take BMAT and who would like to access the BMAT Section 2: Assumed Subject Knowledge guide.
Where can I find the Assumed Subject Knowledge guide?
The guide is accessible on the Admissions Testing Preparation site. You'll need to register for the site in order to access the guide.
Please note this is a separate website from the former version of the guide (which was hosted on Metritests) so you will still need to register and create log-ins, even if you used the Metritests guide in past years.
What is the BMAT Section 2: Assumed Subject Knowledge guide?
The BMAT Section 2: Assumed Subject Knowledge guide provides an overview of the scientific and mathematical knowledge which BMAT Section 2 questions can draw on.
You will have covered much of this content in your school-based study of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Where you have not covered a topic or would like more revision, use the guide as a study tool alongside support from your teachers, textbooks or other reliable resources.
How do I register for the guide?
You will need to access the guide on the Admissions Testing Preparation site.
We are aware that some candidates are not receiving confirmation emails upon registration to access BMAT Section 2 Guide.
If you have registered to access BMAT Section 2 guide and have not received a confirmation email, please contact us on: ATadministration@cambridgeassessment.org.uk, we will then activate your account.
Please see the tutorial below for registration instructions.
