There are a number of items you are allowed to bring with you into the test room:
- pens
- pencils
- erasers
- highlighters
- clear pencil cases
- rulers
- protractors
- compasses
- water in a clear plastic bottle with label removed
- medicine required during test
- tissues
- photo ID (if required by your centre)
There are a number of items you are not allowed to bring with you in the test room:
- mobile phones
- cameras
- smart watches
- iPods
- iPads/e-readers
- notes, paper
- correction fluid/tape
- erasable pens
- graph paper
- calculators
Please note this list is not exhaustive.
If you are not sure whether an item is allowed in the room, please contact your exam centre before the test.
Watches: The Exams Officer at your centre may prohibit you from bringing a wrist watch into the test room and smart watches are not allowed.
If you are allowed one, you must place it clearly on your desk - you are not allowed to wear a watch during the test.
Exam rooms should have clocks visible to all candidates.
