Introduction
This tutorial demonstrates the candidate test experience in the Cambridge English Test Portal. The actual contents of the test are not shown.
The first step is to open the website. <br><br>This tutorial assumes the candidate has been given an entry code rather than a username and password so click <span class=""><i><b>Entry Code.</b></i></span>
Enter the entry code and click <span class=""><i><b>OK</b></i></span>
Click the box to confirm acceptance of the terms and conditions. These can be viewed by clicking on the blue link, Terms of Use.
Click <span class="component"><i><b>Continue</b></i></span>
All available tests will now be displayed along with their status - in this case New meaning unattempted. Click the <b><i>arrow </i></b>to begin.<br>
Click <span class="component"><i><b>Open</b></i></span>
The following introduction screen will be displayed. Click <b><i>Start </i></b>(bottom right of screen) to continue.
An example of the test will now be displayed. Click <span><i><b>Next </b></i>(bottom right of screen) to continue.<i><b></b></i></span>
You will also see tips on responding. Click <span><i><b>Next >> </b></i>(bottom right of screen) to continue.<i><b></b></i></span>
Next Guideline are displayed. Click <span><i><b>Next >> </b></i>(bottom right of screen) to continue.<i><b></b></i></span>
Click <span class=""><i><b>Next >> </b></i>having viewed the data protection notice. The test will then begin (this is not shown in this tutorial).</span>
At end of the test the following screen will be displayed. Click <span><i><b>Close </b></i>(this does not log you out of the site).</span>
The following confirmation screen is displayed. Click <b>back </b>to return to the Home page.
The test has now changed from New to Completed and cannot be selected again. <br> <br>Students can click <span class=""><i><b>Results</b></i> but for CPSQ no scores will be displayed.</span>
Click <span class=""><i><b>Home</b></i> to return to the main screen.</span>
Click <span class=""><i><b>Log out </b></i>(top right hand side of the screen) to leave the site.</span>
That's it. You're done.
