If you think something might have affected your performance during your test, such as temporary illness/injury or problems with the administration of the test, you can apply for Special Consideration.
If you are a candidate who has taken a test at an exam centre, contact your centre right away, as Special Consideration requests should be made in the first instance by the centre. If the Special Consideration is due to a fault at your school or college, for example, if Access Arrangements were not provided, you can submit the form below.
If you have taken a test using remote proctoring, please submit the form below - there's no need to contact an exam centre.
Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing will consider the circumstances and where appropriate we will advise the universities of the Special Consideration. The decision to take the Special Consideration into account or not is at the discretion of the universities.
No adjustment will be made to the results.
*Please note, we are only able to pass on Special Consideration notifications to the universities that officially accept results from the exams.
Submitting a request for Special Consideration
The deadline for submitting Special Consideration requests for BMAT taking place on 20 February 2021 is 16:00 UK time on 26 February.
If you have not submitted the request before the deadline, but need to report an incident that occurred on the test day, please get in touch with the university/universities you have applied to and inform them directly.
